Me and My Shadows was selected by the juror for the 2010 Florida Artists Juried Exhibition at Sante Fe College, Gainesville, FL, where it received the Award of Merit prize.
Once I saw where this painting was going I began to inscribe the soft shoe and tap steps I learned many years ago when I was hoofing along with the rest of them and loving every minute of it.
